Click any of the following most frequently asked questions to see our answer. Use the form at the bottom to ask a question if you could not find the answer to your question.

  1. Rating: +0

    Is it safe?

  2. Doest it work?

  3. Rating: +2

Won’t the water vapor inside the engine make it rust?

  4. I heard that hydrogen burns very hot and can cause damage to engines that are equipped with aluminum heads. Is it true?

  5. Rating: +1

I heard people call it FREE ENERGY but the energy isn’t really FREE - it has to come from somewhere. So where does it come from?

  6. Rating: +1

It needs electricity from the car battery to power the water electrolysis process and it consumes fuel to charge the battery. How comes it can save fuel in the end?

  7. I’m hoping to build one soon, but many people say it is a good idea to build a water trap too, do you agree? After all, it is basically just a jar of water, and with the vacuum sucking and bumps and stuff on the road, water is bound to get pulled in with the HHO

  8. Is the Oxy Hydrogen gas that you are referring to also known as Brown’s gas. If so I’ve read that Brown’s Gas is not combustible when compressed, how then can it be combusted in a spark ignition or compression ignition engine?

  9. I have been reading everything I can on the HHO generator. I have just read that in order to get the most out of your mileage that a person should install a MAP sensor then set it according to what percent of brown gas is being injected into the engine. That creates 2 questions:
    1) How does a person figure out what percent of brown gas is being injected into the intake? and
    2) Is a MAP sensor really needed?

  10. What is the best gauge for the 316L stainless steel plates? And what about size and spacing?

  11. Is it true that HHO is not recommended for vehicles with turbochargers, superchargers or compression ratios greater than 9.5 to 1? It can cause an engine knock. Do they say that you can install these kits in all makes of cars?

About

adminAbout Site Admin: Trained as a chemist in the field of electrochemistry (Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Calgary supervised by Dr. Viola Birss). So this new way of saving fuel with a cleaner engine exhaust by injecting H2/O2 mixture (HHO) from water electrolysis gets me excited. Currently working on testing various HHO generators and perfecting the electrode design for optimized H2/O2 production.
