You’re right, the energy has to come from somewhere. Here it is:
If you check around and you will know that the efficiency of gasoline in today’s cars is about 20%-25%. Maybe 28-30% for a really good design. So what is the rest of it doing? Well, 70% to 75% goes to emissions (unburned fuel!), heat, carbon deposits, vibrations, noise – 75% gets wasted!
Now if we introduce any type of “magical” solution such as hydrogen/oxygen additives, xylene, etc, all we are doing is reducing the extent of waste. Say, we reduce the waste by only 5%, from 75% to 70% – this results in overall performance boost of 20%. You can do the math – raising fuel burning efficiency from 25% to 30%, is a betterment of 20%, right there.
That is the magic. And that is the magic that the car engineers, high up in the mountains, should be doing. Unfortunately they are too lazy to go the second mile or maybe they do not want to agitate the fuel supply industry too much. This is where we step in and fill up the void. And here is an opportunity to thank everybody who is doing something in this regard!
